    Splash wedding ring quilt pattern by Ann Richardson, Paige Vitek & Jean Wells
    2008 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Raffle Quilt Designed by Ann Richardson, Paige Vitek, and
    Jean Wells. A contemporary color scheme was chosen and the traditional arcs were modified
    to transform the design into a colorwash suggestive of a Cascades mountain scene.
    As you look at the quilt, you will see that the values are darker at the bottom and lighter at the
    top.  The corner posts also slightly change in value from top to bottom.  Half of the arcs are
    pieced and half of the arc are cut from a single piece of fabric.  In the pieced arcs, the designers
    used three different configurations to give the blocks more of a casual look.
