Description

Manual RKN Cool Containers (LD-3 cooltainer). Condition is used and may have some cosmetic wear otherwise, containers are found in great conditions. Each container is equivalent to (1) pallet size.
*Containers were originally purchased in 2004.

Containers are built on a 61,5" x 60,4 base and are constructed of aluminum extrusions and sheets.
The walls and roof are built as sandwich panels with aluminum outer- and inner sheets and a XPS core and can be replaced from the outside of the container.
The container has a large door at the front side. This door is also built as a sandwich panel with aluminum outer- and inner sheets and a XPS core.
The floor panel consists of an aluminum pallet sheet, an aluminum inner sheet, and a XPS core.
Container is equipped with a dry-ice box with an internal volume of 120 litres.
These containers have the purpose to facilitate a safe transport of vaccines, medicines, blood plasma, or foodstuff. These coolcontainers assist in medical relief and catering services around the world.
Besides a superb insulation, cooling is arranged via dry-ice based systems.
Regular D batteries allow users to set temperature at a digital control unit which controls fans and stores temperature data.
Data measured from calibrated sensors can be exported using a standard memory card.
These containers are able to withstand the harsh environment that air cargo can be subject to.
These containers comply with all airworthiness regulations, including electromagnetic interference (EMI) for on board usage.
Containers are certified by the Department of Dutch Civil Aviation and FAA.
