You need supply the 12V power to the system, the red wire and the green/red wire twist together to the power ON（Red/Green have to connect to +12V otherwise not work） and the black wire connect to the ground，you need install this device inside the car, only connect  it to the multimeter is useless, if you only connect the system to the multimeter and said it can't work and open the dispute, please not buy in our shop
