Offered for sale is the photomatched Quebec Nordiques jersey worn by Paul Gillis on the infamous 1990 Pro Set "Bloody Nose Error" card.
The red marks on the right sleeve number and the long black stick mark above and to the right of the number can be clearly seen on the Pro Set card.
The alternate captain "A" was removed but its shadow that it left behind can be seen on the jersey in the fourth photo.
This jersey shows appropriate game use including a couple repairs, stick marks, board burns, unrepaired holes, and soiling related to its game use.
This jersey has the typical problem that Nordiques game worn jerseys of this period have of cracking, flaking, and peeling of the screened numbers and Fleur De Lis logos. The screening is fragile and will gradually come off. There is no stopping it. If you buy this jersey then you need to accept that fault and know that it needs special care. If you are interested in this jersey you should not plan on wearing it, washing it, or even handling it much because that will certainly further rapidly damage the screening. What this jersey needs is to be stored away safely, possibly on display in a frame or mannequin, exactly knowing its significance next to the Pro Set card.
