View of the Humber River Canyon (CANON is not a error of the printing company - it was included in the original notes from the photographer R.E. Holloway), 10 cent value from the very popular Pictorial Issue of 1923 that features some of the finest stamp engraving ever produced. Violet, perf 13.7x14.2 (at least 9 perf varieties have been recorded to date for the Pictorial Issue, 6 have been found in the 10 cent value). Excellent color and appearance, quite well centered for this small format issue. Excellent color and appearance, well centered. Light unobtrusive cancel. No faults that are not obvious in the scans.
Images should provide all the information necessary to make a reasonably intelligent bid on this lot.
