Paper Picture sleeves were issued with 45rpm singles to hype a pop artists best chance singles.  These thin glossy sleeves are fragile collectibles that are subject to a number of flaws that are identified for the discerning sleeve collector.  Due to the thin floppy nature of the paper used to make these sleeves, every sleeve will likely have a discernable defect.  I have collected them since 1982, always treating them as paper collectibles rather than a means to store a record.  Any sleeve I obtained was immediately separated from the record (no need to ask, I don't have ANY of the records) and put in a poly sleeve, usually with a backer board.  These have been stored decades in binders in my "dorm-room", but as an active collector I have been adding new ones to this collection all the way along.  Most of my really choice condition sleeves were pulled out of circulation many years ago and didn't have a chance to float around peoples record collections, closets, drawers, and basements...So now I rarely find these anymore in any decent condition since nobody really took care of them or cared much about them except for me.  I know there must be other people out there who collect these and I am going to spread out my finds and offer some of these up.
Condition Guidelines that I use, each condition can contain a +/- variant:
NM (near mint) = This sleeve would be super rare to find, I don't have any, this grade is reserved for a sleeve which does not have a single flaw as indicated in my codes below.
EX (excellent) = Sleeve can have very minor wear, evidence that the sleeve was ever used to house a record is minimal to non-existent.  Excellent condition is a very difficult grade to attain.  If I have it graded EX, it will be in very fine collectors condition.  A sleeve in excellent condition will have been culled and separated from the record long ago, so that the evidence of the record ever being in the sleeve or that this was ever used as a sleeve to store a record is minimal to non-existent
VG (Very Good) = Most of the sleeves I offer fall under this condition.  The sleeve will have been used to store a record for some period.  Depending how early the sleeve was separated from the record usually determines the extent to which there is evidence of use.  Only minor edge wear, minor mainly hidden pin and staple holes, lightly rounded or blunted corners, light stress bends, and/or small edge splits are allowed under this condition.
G (Good) = Sleeve will have been used to store a record and have evident wear from handling, use, or storage without a poly sleeve.  Any sleeve that has excessive ring wear, a record ridge, a tear, a missing piece, a crease, or paper loss would automatically fall under Good condition.  Any sleeve displaying an excessive defect falls automatically under this condition.
F (Fair or Acceptable) = Sleeve will show a good bit of handling and wear.  The only sleeves that I have in Fair condition are likely to either be old or scarce, I will not be offering any sleeves from the 1980s that are in Fair condition.
