  • Condition: What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful pair of vintage Art Deco bookends! This lovely pair of bookends is comprised of two cockatoos in white alabaster with grey veining and light blue highlights set upon blackish grey bases with white highlights. They were carved with an exceptional eye to the detail and have ornately carved heads, feathers and claws with deep purple jeweled glass eyes. They are absolutely stunning! They were of course very solidly made and they are very heavy for their size weighing over 6 pounds between the two. They are in good overall condition for their age, the head feathers have some chips to the tips and there are scuffs and scratches to the bodies and bases. They each stand 7.5" tall by 5" long and are 2.75" wide.
