actually works too good for the water capacity. I refill this because it shuts off no less than 3 times a day. Yes that means that it works very well but I wish the fill tank had a larger capacity than approx. 3 gallons. Have seen some reviews about it being loud but I have always had a humidifier similar to this and they have always had a similar volume. But my last humidifier similar to this lasted better than 20 years so maybe their are quieter ones at a higher price range? I made this purchase based on price then reading the reviews. I loved my old one but this one puts much more water into the air if I can just keep it full!

This model was exceptional has adjustments, shuts off when empty sturdy not flimsy easy to assemble. It is a little loud, do not suggest to put in family room where the TV is. The only problem I have is the tube you fill the reservoir won't fit most faucets have to take it outside to water hose.

We are very happy with this humidifier, we should have purchased it in the beginning of the winter when we started heating our home as the dry air effected the bamboo flooring we had installed last spring.

I’ve only had this a couple of months, pulled it away from the wall and there was all sorts of white debri behind it and on the filter! What is this stuff? I used the bacteria product until I ran out. We do have soft water, suggestions? I would hate to have to replace the filter every 2 months.

The humidifier was definitely capable of keeping the room humid. Changing the water was simple enough and it came with a hose attachment for the sink for filling. However, the 5 gallons only lasted about 8 hours in a large, enclosed room. So fill-ups may be daily.

This did not quite do the job we had hoped. We were taking it out of manufactures specs to bring a room up to over 90% humidity. Great machine and was easy to assemble. We will use it in our home as the season continues.

The quality of the humidifier is good for the price. Assembly of the unit was simple and straightforward which only took about 20-30 minutes. The operation of the unit works as advertised and so far after a month of use have found no defects. This is an affordable unit that definitely does the job!!

It does’t quite cover my 3100 sq ft house when it gets cold outside. It runs constantly then and has to be refilled frequently. As it warms up outside, this problem goes away. My house is 2 stories, so that could be the problem. Noise level isn’t bad, though. Mine is near our tv.

So far after a couple months everything is working fine. My last 3 were Kenmore's so this is new to me. It seems to be keeping the humidity right and isn't that loud. Average size for a whole house humidifier. A few comments, it only has one fan and only one water tank( which I find a bit inconvenient). If it runs low you have to wait for the tank to empty so you can refill it to get maximum time. To fill the tank you have to attach a hose to your faucet, my last Kenmore had a fill hole in the side of the tank that was very helpful. Also the digital display is very bright. It was cheaper than the Kenmore replacement.

Its not made like they were 30 years ago, but it is working great. It is keeping the humidity level within the range I need it to be for wellness. I can definitely tell a difference in the air. Wish we had gotten one years ago.

Works really well. Yes, as others have mentioned, the unit reads about 10% higher on the humidity than a good hygrometer in the same room. So, to keep the humidity around 45% I set the unit at 55%. Not a big deal. Yes, as others have noted, the fan speeds above low are quite noisy. However, I find keeping the fan on low works perfectly. Once again, no big deal. Finally, the unit is advertised as a 5.4 gallon capacity unit. This may be, but it is deceptive. The refill tank only holds 2.5 gallons. When the unit shuts off because it is out of water, there is still a lot of water left in the unit and in the wick. However, this capacity cannot be used because the water no longer reaches the wick. I wouldn't be surprised if this unusable water takes the capacity up to 5.4 gallons. However, the USABLE capacity of this unit is only 2.5 gallons. I have to fill it up every day.

Great design. It fits in well with the modern decor in my house. It doesn't take up a lot of space. I ordered the optional air filter which hopefully will help keep down on the dust. There's 4 fan speeds. The highest is pretty loud and the lowest is somewhat quiet. I wish it were a bit quieter but it's not annoying. It has a display which shows the current humidity which I compared with 2 different hygrometers that I placed about 10-15 ft. from the unit. The unit shows a 10-12% higher reading than my hygrometers so at least for my unit I need to set it about 10% higher than the humidity I actually want. But it brings the humidity up fast, it's easy to fill and it has wheels to move it if needed. I like it.

I had a console type before and I had to roll the whole unit over to the bath tub to fill it up. This unit comes with a handy bottle that you remove and fill at your kitchen sink. I am lucky enough to have a very high kitchen faucet so I don't have to use the tube that comes with it. Yes it is very loud on high but there is no other way to pull the water through the filter. Low speed seems to be just enough and isn't that loud. The plastic case isn't as thick as our old one but it should hold up with reasonable care. Very simple to adjust the humidity level with the analog controls with digital display. Check out my video but when I say degrees I mean percent I hope it doesn't confuses you.
