    Description

    Offered here is a 2 stroke pressure and vacuum (vacuum pump not included) leak testing kit and carburetor diagnostic tool for chain saws, trimmers, blowers, tillers, water pumps, etc.  Includes a hand pressure bulb, a deluxe pressure gauge (psi/bar), 3 tapered rubber sealing strips, 3 sized connectors, sized connection hoses and a 14mm spark plug adapter.
    Also, includes written and illustrated step-by-step instructions.
    The basic theory of pressure/vacuum testing a 2 stroke engine is relatively simple. You want to seal off all ports then introduce a pressure or vacuum into the crankcase+cylinder and use a gauge to determine if the pressure or vacuum remains constant or not. Some OEM's such as Stihl, leave the spark plug seated, seal the exhaust port with a rubber sealing strip and pressurize/vacuum through the intake port. This allows them to sell you a variety of pricey carburetor intake port flanges for different models of their equipment. This kit eliminates the need for carburetor intake port flanges.  It seals the exhaust port
    and
    intake port with rubber sealing strips then pressurizes/vacuums through the spark plug hole. This allows greater versatility of application to many different brands and models of 2 stroke equipment, besides Stihl.  A more universal product.
